EL NIDO, P.3

Day 32-33

Kia ora! Hello!

Time for our next adventure day! 8.30am and our friend comes and walks us from our accommodation to the boat - if anyone is visiting El Nido, reach out. Ian is amazing! Checking in on us to make sure we get to El Nido ok, sorting our van transfers, the pick ups in the mornings, sorting our hire snorkels and full of recommendations on what to do, how to do it and expected costs.

Tour C was potentially not going to go ahead due to winds, but thankfully it did. I enjoyed A, but C was full of snorkeling and some cool hidden spots making this one my favourite.

Full on day once again, so home, shower, nap, eat and sleep it was.

Our last full day of El Nido and at this point my body really just isn't happy, just when I thought I was doing better. This led to a lazy morning, brunch, massage and then instead of the long journey out to Nacpac beach we decided to enjoy another swim out at Las Cabanas and then go out to Lio beach to enjoy some more of those yummy tacos!

So many food spots to check out, and so far in El Nido town we have visited:

*Taste - vegan cafe

*Happiness - good food and coffee!

*Artcafe - also a good brunch spot

*Munch Island - saw on tiktok, it's ok

*Chulas Paletas - pick an ice-cream and dip it, NZ is really spoilt for ice-cream so this could be better but for where we are it's amazing

*Food Truck - jeepney turned food truck, dumplings are pretty good

*Big Bad Thai - green curry was just what I was craving!

*Dayo - had to finally try souffle pancakes

*Oz El Nido - 3 floors for a cafe, tattoos and a bar with a small pool & spider net

*Numerous smoothie spots, just straight fruit and ice

I must run, finally washing the hair after a week of swimming & sunscreen, then off to do some last minute laundry and pack our bags before our 3 day journey to Europe starting tomorrow!!

Haere rā! Goodbye!
