Today is many things;

*Last working day of 2023

*Last working day in the Philippines

*The day I officially put my out of office on for 75 days!

Started the day a little earlier to get more crossover time with some staff back in NZ for handover conversations, went out for one last lunch with some of the leadership team in the Manila office, then boxed up the laptop, work phone & some sweets. Wrapped a heck of a lot of tape around it and off to NZ that box goes, couldn't be more stoked to say goodbye to that laptop for awhile!

The day is also a little sad as after four weeks of living and working within Eastwood there are so many people that we got familiar with, share a smile & a wave and will never see again - the ladies at the coffee shop, the security into both the office and our complex, the receptionist at the complex, security into the mall next door and also the friendly security who directed the traffic & pedestrians.

But back on to the positives, time to pack our bags & head off to the islands for some sun, swimming & beach hoping for the next week. But first, ending our stay with a night tour on the Eastwood Tram and capturing snaps of all the cool graffiti.
